Raw and Living Foods are foods that have been uncooked and unprocessed by conventional methods. Raw foods include vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and seeds. Livings foods are always raw, but all raw foods are not necessarily living.
So what constitutes a living food? A food is considered alive or living if it has been alive less than 24 hours prior to human consumption. It is possible to eat living foods from a backyard garden or orchard, but most supermarket food takes several days to travel from the farm to the store.
